Renewable energy is energy that has been derived from earth’s natural resources that are not finite or exhaustible, such as wind and sunlight. Renewable energy is an alternative to the traditional energy that relies on fossil fuels, and it tends to be much  less harmful to the environment. This activity will help us explore the various types of renewable/green energy. 

In groups, you will be delving deep into one type of green energy from the following list: solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, biomass. Each group will randomly select their green energy system.

Deliverables:

Create a diagram using Canva.com to illustrate how this energy system works. 

Create a slideshow to answer the above questions and to include your diagram.
